Chapter 90. Break

Abigail’s POV

Matt, Kaiden and the warriors are about to drag them to the dungeons, but I stop them. They need to be interrogated before we decide, but by the way they tried to sneak away, they seem to have a guilty conscience of some sort.

“Wait. We need to get some answers before leaving them to rot.” My voice is cold and I stare them down. Alpha Godric avoids my eyes, while the other looks into them without breaking contact. When he lifts his eyebrow, it hits me in the gut where I have seen him before.

“What unfortunate pack has gotten you as their Alpha?” I spit at him. His laugh makes my skin crawl, and sensing my murderous intents, Matt wraps his arms around me.

“Careful Peter. Yes, I recognize you!” I say as he stares at me. A smirk is playing in the corners of his mouth. He takes a deep breath.
