When they both stop rolling, Serena lands on top of the person who just slammed into her. 

One whiff of that dark amber scent and the omega knows exactly who the culprit is.

Kane.

“Caught you.” Kane growls, no signs of pain showing on his face even as he takes the brunt of their crash. 

Instead, his arms circle around his omega tightly, refusing to let her even move an inch. “We finally caught you, omega.”

As much as Serena wants to seem unaffected, there’s a spike in her scent that’s a result from the alpha’s show of strength. 

And of course, by the fact that they really caught her.
