Chapter 15

Xavier felt his chest swell with an unfamiliar warmth. The little boy looked around with innocent eyes. His little mouth curled into a pout.

“Are you looking for someone?” Xavier asked curious. He did not see much of the toddler during dinner. Sylvia kept him on her lap. The other omegas did not join them either, already asleep. Dorian took a step closer eyeing Xavier. The large innocent eyes seemed to judge his character. Xavier suppressed his urge to laugh. But up close, he admitted that Rose was right. The toddler was too small for his age.

“Sylive?,” Dorian said in a small voice. “I want sylive,” he added with a trembling lip he was about to cry.

“She is upstairs, do you want to see her?” Xavier pointed to the floor above them. “I can take you to her if you want,” he offered ready to carry the little boy to his Aunt’s room.
