Chapter 16

“A bully in the playground?” Xander repeated with a laugh. “I love it,” he decided as his mirth worsened. Sylvia chuckled softly and turned back to his cooking.

Xavier joined them a moment later, ready for work.

“I made you banana milk,” Sylvia smiled putting a glass of milk in front of Xavier. The alpha’s eyes widened for a fleeting moment. “I am planning to make banana bread for your mid-morning snack, would you like some?” She asked softly. Xander smiled discreetly behind his coffee cup.

Sylvia asked meeting his gaze. The alpha simply nodded. Sylvia smiled noticing his rosy cheeks.

The alphas left after breakfast. Sylvia kissed each one goodbye. She noticed Xavier’s lingering gaze. Sylvia smiled softly. She had never expected banana milk to be of so much help.

Xavier came back for a quick shower midmorning. He was covered in dirt after some work in the farm. He felt the urgent need to shower before doing anything else.

“Husband?” Sylvia smiled
