Lola's POV

"I should have known it wouldn't go the easy way with you. Fine, we'll do this my way," he said, and all hell broke loose.

His creatures charged toward us, and our men started shooting them down, too. Guns barely had any effect on them, and that was when I knew that we were in trouble.

"Wolf forms, now!" Adrian commanded, and we all changed into our wolf form. We had been training for any possible scenario and I couldn't thank the moon goddess more.

My thoughts were on how to rescue Fay and Serena. Even if I decided to fight Alysia with my powers, Serena was the only one who knew how to subdue her finally. I made eye contact with her, and that was all I needed to know that I needed to free her for this to end.

"I need to get to Serena. She's the only one who can stop Alysia. We need her to stop Alysia," I screamed at Adrian through our mindlink.

"What?" He replied as he threw off the creature that tried to get me from the right.
