Adrian's POV

I went in search of Fay as soon as I left Lola. I was blinded by rage at her insolence. I clearly told her to stay away from Lola, and she had the guts to go back and say shit to her?

I spotted her in a group of people and walked over to her. I grabbed her arm and pulled her away from the group towards a slightly deserted corner of the pack house. 

"What did I tell you about Lola?" I barked in her face, and she seemed unfazed. It was almost like she did it to lure me to her. She smiled lazily at me, and I felt Daxon trying to take control. 

She must have noticed the incessant change in my eye color because she trembled slightly and bowed to her. Daxon is an Alpha wolf and doesn't care for anyone except his mate, so she knew she'd be torn to shreds if I allowed him to take control.
