Lola's POV

Jasmine was starting to get annoyed and wanted to be let out, but I reined her in. I need to hear what he has to say before any other step can be taken. 

"You'll need to calm down so we can get any information he might have for us out of him, Adrian. He's just trying to rile you up, so stop growling, and let's concentrate on the matter at hand," I snapped at him when he kept growling at the rogue, who kept laughing at him through his pain. 

"Yes, I'd like to know who you're talking about, so why don't you tell us, and we'll spare your life?" I told him.

"I'd have loved to tell you, but I wouldn't survive anyway, so I'll carry it to my grave," he groaned.

Thinking he was talking about his pain, I moved towards him a bit, and Adrian followed closely behind me. "If it's about the injury, I can heal it. You'll be fine eventually. I just need you to answer some questions," I said gently.

"You're so thoughtful, but I'm going to die
