“Ascian… no… I”

Mirela didn’t have words to tell him, she was just terrified. She didn’t know how he followed her even after she washed her scent away. Her body was trembling, her heart was hammering against her chest with horror.

Watching how angry he was, she slowly took a few steps back wanting to run. Soon, her action was stopped by his loud and furious growl. She hugged Ahren tightly, not wanting Ascian to see him. Even though he was the father, she didn’t want to.

“You really played well”

His calm tone pulled her into a deadly abyss. Ascian Lucas becoming calm and silent means nothing but death. She knew him, she had heard about him even before she met him and found he was her mate.

Helpless tears filled her eyes, she was scared and hurt. Her body became numb and the pain of her wounds were killing her. She has no wolf to heal her and she’s nothing but a human now. Everything haunted her and she buried her face against her little son’s shoulder.
