Chapter 56

“Mirela, I’m taking Ahren with me.”

Mirela was washing dishes as she heard Ascian’s voice. She stopped what she was doing and looked back at Ascian who was carrying Ahren and standing at the entrance of the kitchen. She watched him for a while and looked at Ahren who was giggling happily. She sighed and nodded.

“Come before four in the evening” gazing at both son and father, she muttered and turned as she started to do what she was doing. Then again she turned back and looked at Ascian with a frown.

“Ascian you’re not allowed to show how cruel the world is to him! you got it?” she asked. She knew what kind of man he was and what his intentions were. He wanted Ahren to be strong and dangerous like he was so Mirela clearly knew he’s going to show Ahren the cruel reality.
