The next day, there was no longer the everyday silence that always inhabited that house.

Hayoon had fun while making cheese sandwiches for everyone, and heard JaeHwa's loud and amused laugh interspersed with Kwan's.

"Slow down, children." Euna alerted them, seeing JaeHwa chase Kwan and Fluffy across the entire yard.

"Are you hungry?" Hayoon asked, taking the tray with the sandwiches to everyone.

Euna thanked him when she fetched one and laughed when she saw Kwan and JaeHwa running towards it like two hungry beings.

"Slowly." Hayoon warned, watching them bite the bread in a hurry. "Your hair looks funny."

JaeHwa had some crooked braids and barrettes that Kwan had fun trying to style his long hair.

And even as they played, the older one refused to take it off since the little boy had said it was too cute.

"That's pretty."
