Chapter 146. Danger

'Trouble! Big trouble!' she thought to herself, panicking as she fell into thought as to how to get out of this mess. She could very well try to run away at the moment, but what about Kyley?

"Why?" Jason stopped on his step forward and asked with a creased gaze. He spread a palm and shook his head dramatically as though he'd given Paige everything in the world only to for her to betray him.

Paige couldn't help but shudder at Jason's words, her eyes darted about as she became horrified. If she doesn't do something soon, she would have to spend the rest of her days in that basement with Kyley as Jason's torture pigs.

Nonetheless, she knew she had no way of fighting Jason. She could only try to stall for time at the moment.

Paige looked around in search for something to protect herself with as she slowly took cautious steps back, hoping that there was enough distance to escape.
