Chapter 39. After-Bath

Handing her a towel along with a shirt and a pair of shorts that belonged to him, Darren was surprised when Kyley snatched it from him and stomped her feet as she walked into the bathroom.

Darren watched this with his mouth slightly agape on surprise. Sometimes, Kyley's actions were so random one of these days that he couldn't match it with the same shy, reserved, and timid werewolf that he used to know her to be. She had become a totally different person!

Nonetheless, Darren only heaved a deep sigh and shook his head before continuing downstairs to finish his meal. Once he was done with his meal, he picked up both his plate and Kyley's and went to clean them in the kitchen.
