Chapter 85. Chance Encounter

Once he left Yoldes' palm, Jake looked around swiftly, especially towards the direction of the alley in the back where he had earlier seen those two wild werewolves.

He was scared that they would find out that he had found them and that they would try to "shut him up". However, seeing that they weren't anywhere near, he sighed in relief.

He switched his gaze from the alley towards the pale blue slightly rusty sedan parked across the street and walked towards it in haste.

Once he got in the car, he instantly said in a hushed tone, " Something terrible is going on within the city"

The hunter who was just putting away his pipe said with his gaze latched onto a distance through the windscreen, " I know"

Jake was stomped at this, it was the same thing the hunter had said earlier when he found news regarding the Nightclaw pack.

'Is this a habit of his?' Jake pondered.

"What did you find?" Hunter Logan moved his gaze from the windscreen and asked.<
