I paced around the house, nervously waiting for their return.

I don’t know what it was, but something didn’t sit right with me at all about their reason for going out.

I suspected that they weren’t telling the whole truth and wanted to shield me from something.

The house was well-protected with the security alarm; no one could get in but me or Ronan.

I have done all sorts of things to take my mind off it. I watched a movie, or maybe I think I did because I don’t remember what it is I watched for the life of me.

I took a tour of the house over and over again because I was restless.

The truth is, I don’t know if they went to confront Antonio because the necklace was still in my possession. They can’t possibly go without it.
