Chapter 18

Anastasia thought that she should meet the secretary since she is the closest person she knows in the company. She went to the secretary's office with the money.

She knocked on the door. "Excuse me, ma'am."

"Miss Romanoff." She called, surprised to see her. "It's you. How may I help you?" She asked.

"Is your boss around?" She asked.

"He's not coming today. But you can tell me whatever it is you want to tell him."

"Well, I came to return your boss's balance. His payment was twenty dollars but he dropped forty dollars on the table. I thought maybe he must have done it by mistake, so I came to return it back to you."

"Oh, he must have forgotten. But thanks by the way."

Anastasia drops the money on the table. "Thank you."

"You're welcome." 

Anastasia leaves the room, heading back to her shop.
