Chapter 66

Jade POV

I stood up slowly, meeting her eyes and watching her as she walked to where I was. She was the one. She was Suzy. 

Betty too had her eyes wide open and held a hand over her mouth to prevent her from screaming out loud. 

“Jade.” She said as she stood in front of me. 

I didn't know what to do. To scream? To hug her? To get angry and shout at her? To start asking her questions? To not say anything and just sit back down. I was so confused. I don't know... My mind was a mess. I had become frozen. 

It felt surreal. Like I had seen a ghost. Or rather, like I was seeing a ghost. But she was in front of me, looking at me just like I was doing the same to her. 

“Jade...” She said again. She gave me a little smile, reached out her hand and touched my arm lightly. Her brown eyes looked unsure of what next to do and she pressed her lips together with a sigh. 

I slowly looked down at her arm, feeling her touch on my skin and the
