Chapter 15. Accusations
He was sitting on the sofa and Rafay stood in front of him, with his hands crossed and eyes looking down. His face was pale and his body slightly shivering.
Shehryaar had carried Sheharzaad in his arms to his office and laid her on one of the sofas as she was unconscious.
"Should I believe it already that you're at fault?" Shehryaar's dark voice tore through the thick atmosphere, making Rafay vigilant as he looked up at him.
"No sir,"
"Then start speaking," he ordered while crossing his foot on the knee of his other leg and sprawling one of his arms on the sofa head.
"Sir, I apologize for my error. But trust me, she called me to her office saying there was an urgent piece of work. I came rushing, and she began to seduce me. When I said no to her, she began to scream and run in the opposite direction. Feels like the denial didn't sit well with her," Rafay tried to manipulate him.
Shehryaar only gave a nod to him when his eyes moved toward her
