Three Years Later
Life was nothing but pitch darkness for him. A darkness that had the capacity to suffocate you to death. And the people around you wouldn't even realize the extent to which that darkness had consumed you, especially when you are inexpressive. You are monotonous. And when you lack the ability to utter what bothered you.
Those moments often made him realize he had no one in life with whom he could express the pain he was going through. That pain was more unbearable than any physical pain one could endure. His heart was heavy, his life bleak, his whereabouts desolated. He found himself standing alone. Time was forcing him to propel forward, walk ahead, rather run, but he was stuck. Like an endless loop, his past life would play in front of his eyes. Each moment. Every memory. Those moments, like a snake, would coil around his ankles, inhibiting him from moving ahead.
He remained stuck on day one of 'grey against grey.'
