Chapter 115. His Threats
She was letting her mind sway in whatever direction it wanted to go, except the one she feared. She didn’t want to go down the path that led to assumptions and anticipations—fear and anxiety. It was his thought that she was avoiding. But it kept on coming back with full force increasing her anxiety by leaps and bounds. Her chest raised up and down rapidly. Her heart has come to her throat. The fear couldn’t be put in words. Pure unadulterated fear. Irtaza wasn’t even there yet she was hyperventilating, making her thing what would happen when she would encounter him.
She didn’t want to assume what her future would look like now with Irtaza. Irtaza seemed relentless at his office. He showed no signs of exhibiting any mercy towards her. He might kill her. Or might do something worse than just killing her.
She didn’t want to make assumptions about how he would punish her, how he would deliver his threats. How he would extract life out of her body and make her a walking corps
