Chapter 195. Come to My Room
Her mother couldn't come here, her father couldn't come. Nobody could. No one could help her.
Her breathing became uneven. Her lips trembled, and her hands turned cold.
She was so alone.
She hysterically looked around, her eyes moving over the four walls. She was so alone.
And then, they snapped towards the chain.
She was chained and incarcerated.
She bit her lip hard, trying to stop the sobs that were threatening to break out.
Depression.
Loneliness.
Anxiety.
Fear.
These four dreadful feelings crept inside her, wrapping around her like suffocating vines, entangling her in an inescapable prison of despair. She tried to breathe through it, to push away the pressing weight that settled on her chest, but the more she fought it, the more it consumed her. It felt as if her very existence was being pulled into an abyss, one she could never crawl out of.
The realization dawned upon her with unbearable finality.
