Chapter 200. Panic Attack
Danger bells began to ring in his ears as the weight of her words settled upon him. She was alone there in the storm!
"I have talked to Dada. It will be just a small family gathering. Zahra and I will come tomorrow," he hurriedly said, trying to reassure her while feeling the urgency of the situation.
"Fine, son. I am waiting for you both. Now, I will hang up, and please do take care of my Zahra. She is still a kid," she said, her voice softening with love and concern.
"I will," he muttered with determination to protect her.
"Goodbye, son," she said gently, and with that, she ended the call, leaving him with a heavy heart.
Irtaza abruptly stood up, his mind racing with thoughts of Zahra, and ran towards her room, driven by a need to comfort her and shield her from the storm that raged outside, both in the sky and in his heart.
