Chapter 20. Divorce
“I need to talk to Irtaza first, mama,” she said, jumped on her feet and quickly wore her slippers, draped her scarf on her chest, making her way out to her room.
She was insane, all her emotions were bottled up inside her and she felt like soon they would blast and cause an explosion. She was sad, depressed, fearful, surprised but what she felt the most was rage, pure rage. She was baffled- unable to process the events of last night.
She was married.
How dare he to force me into this relation! She thought, enraged.
She saw red as she moved around the corridors and realized she did not know the path to his room. The house was huge and it was just her first day here. She only knew where dining room was and that was only due to the servant who escorted her and her mother there.
