Chapter 47. Her Mother's Concern
She was scared of them even talking about this. The idea terrified her so much. She had never let a man touch her. She wasn’t able to process the marriage, consummation of this marriage was another thing. She still thought someone would come to protect her from Irtaza and save her from this forced marriage.
She didn’t know the reason her heart was still entertaining and harboring a hope in itself. She should have killed that hope the same night when she got married to him. She could only conclude that she liked being hopeful.
The circumstances she was stuck in never mattered to her, she loved being hopeful. Because it was just the light of hope in her heart that made her walk through a lot of challenges in her life. Hope and expecting mercy. She was merciful to others and that made her think that others would be merciful to her too.
