Chapter 99. Warned

Zahra just gave out a laugh when Haseeb suddenly stopped laughing and passed her a glance. Zahra frowned at this unusual behavior.

“What happened?” she asked.

“I hope... you don’t plan to do anything that could hurt our family... or Irtaza. It would never end up in your favor. There would be blood. And it won’t be his blood,” Haseeb told her, taking Zahra by surprise. Her heart skipped a beat. The way he uttered those words told her that he was suspicious about her.

“Why are you saying all this?”
