Amelia’s POV

“Track down the QID on the scan code. I need the location to the warehouse in an hour.” Alessandro said coldly as he gave orders. I took the document from him and turned around but I just couldn’t move my legs.

He looks different and so cold… it wasn’t as if, he wasn’t like this before, but his facial expression shows something was wrong even though he’s trying to keep it to himself.

“Umm… Sir Alessandro.” I called, turning to face him and he looked up from his laptop. His gaze was all stern and it gave me shivers.

“What do you want?” He raised his brows and I opened my mouth to speak but nothing came out. I shook my head and kept my gaze fixed on my feet.

I wanted to look anywhere but his face. He looked like he’d tear me apart if I spouted nonsense.

“Leave if you don’t have anything to say.” He said and I bowed before leaving briskly.
