Chapter 7. Unconscious Girls

On the ride back home, Precious lolls his head on the headrest and closes his eyes. His body tingles at the prospect of a soothing bath, his long body stretched out under the scent of clover.

His eyelids becomes heavy. One minute he’s there alone in his fragrant bathroom, the next, someone’s kneading his shoulders, combing the tresses of his hair.

When he looks up into blue eyes, it sparkles with the need to hurt him.

The car jerks and he wakes, grumpy and bitter.

The pack conference had yielded nothing. The conclusion was they’d do what was best for their pack. The soak-in can’t get here fast enough.

The car parks in front of his building and when he climbs out, he’s immediately greeted by the Doc and a grim-faced Cam.

Stifling a sigh, he walks towards them just as the car peels off.

“Welcome back, Alpha. How was the conference?”

5”3 and petite, the Doc looks straight, straight up at him, forcin
