The message turned into smoke and vanished in the air. The lights and quivering of tables stopped. However, the anger filling my veins just continued with every second.

He dared take away Valen!

I let him go with the thought that he will not come again, but I was wrong. Not only did he come back but also he kidnapped my Valen and Hazel. 

"Ryley?" Dad called me, I felt like a helpless puppy lost in an abandoned building. 

No, not because dad called me but because the people around were staring me with eager eyes. Some held pain while some seemed not at all interested.
