Chapter 55. For You

"Harry Miller, there's a problem I've been thinking about and still can't figure out." Vera Russell raised an arm to squeeze her forehead and spoke slowly.

"Oh? You say it!" Harry Miller turned serious.

Vera Russell looked at the driver, who was acting very serious, slowly saying each word: "Do you really want to hire me to be the editor?"

Stunned, Harry Miller replied: "Of course!"

"So what does a normal editor do? Don't tell me; the Editor just sits in his office reading the newspaper, leisurely watching the scenery outside the window!"

"Oh, it turned out to be this!" Harry Miller covered up: "Don't have anything to do today? Liz, it's all because the deputy editors are normally very capable! About me, I'll talk to them; why take all the power like that? How can you do all the Editor's work like that? Rest assured!"
