Chapter 32. From Bad to Worse

“We should go to the hotel,” Kane suggested when Emilia had finally calmed down.

“I’m not going anywhere until we find my daughter,” she replied stubbornly.

“I understand how you feel but as you can see, it’s getting late. There isn’t much we can do any more at this time.”

“So what do we do when we get to the hotel?”

“Strategize and plan for tomorrow. Maybe we can finally involve the local police.”

She sighed. “Fine. Let’s go.”
