“Serena is desperate to speak with you,” said ‘Lupe. Her eyes shone with unshed tears but Kane wasn’t moved.

“I hope you are aware that both of you have overstayed your welcome in this house,” he said curtly. “Whatever needed to be said between me and Serena has been said already.”

“I offered to pay for her to see a therapist but she refused. I even offered to buy her a house and she turned that down too. I have been more than generous to her already and I’m not making any more offers to her.”
