Chapter 21

It’s been a week since the incident involving Charlotte and me. I was sleeping in Randall’s room again, but this time he was not as cold as before. His attitude toward me was purely sulky. Because he treated me coldly back then for reasons I don’t understand.

My phone rang again in the middle of my thoughts, which startled me. I’m currently drinking coffee on the balcony of Randall and my room. Randall has left and gone to work, leaving me to ponder how to lure him. When I realized who the caller was, I hung up the phone.

When the phone rang again, I would have finished my coffee. I responded, since the sound had already annoyed me. “Why, again and? Didn’t I tell you I was pressed for time?”
