While Ava and I were in the car, it was as if we were not in ourselves. It also took us almost a couple of hours inside the hospital and we both seemed to float. The result of the test didn’t sink into our brains, but if there was anything else, Ava’s face couldn’t be painted.***

“We still need to know whether anything else occurred to you, so we’ll scan you. Please be patient. All we’ll do is set up a room for you.” He was going to walk away when Ava jumped up and stopped him.
“Me as well. I’d want to have a check-up.”
We sat at the doctor’s office waiting for them to prepare a room for the two of us. My doctor stated that he would not be the one to examine Ava, so Ava left first and proceeded to the first room because she had been called.
