Chapter 57

"What the fuck is this?" He yelled making me gasped in shock and quickly he turned me around, with his eyes staring my face in a questioning look and anger reflecting from them.

"Who did this to you?" He asked with clenched teeth and touched the particular point of my flesh.

My mind drifted to confusion but when I met his gaze, I realized that he has asked me about the scar on my back. I froze at my place and automatically my eyes shut closed and many painful scenarios started flashing in my mind.

"WHO DID THIS TO YOU, MAYRA?"

"WHO DID THIS TO YOU, MAYRA?"

His question ranged like someone had just splashed a whole bucket full of cold water over my head. My fingers went to my upper back and I slowly traced them over scars which were present there.

They felt warm under my cold fingers and then a sudden feeling of nausea hit me.

Pressing my eyes shut, I struggled to breath and mentally tried to avoid his question.
