Chapter 31. Congratulatory Ceremony

Adele’s POV

'He chuckled and I looked down at my hands. I looked back up and my eyes went wide a little bit when I looked in the mirror.

What the fuck is Chris doing?!'

The hair at the right side of my head has come loose and it is now cascading down the side of my face, directly on my ear. I can remember the amount of time Vivian spent styling that hair into a neat and perfect bun. She used a lot of pins to make it look beautiful.

"What are you doing?", I asked with a frown on my face and Chris stopped immediately as he looked at me with that guilty eyes.

I saw him look down at my hair once again and before I could say anything, I felt my hair go loose instantly.

"Chris!", I screamed out immediately as I brought my hand up to my head. He has removed all the pins from my hair. I can't believe this.

"What?!", he countered back in a very strong tone and it took me by surprise.

I turned my body around to look properly at him with a glare
