Chapter 55. Chris Likes It Down

Adele's POV

I woke up to someone shaking me vigorously. I did not need to be told or notified before I knew who the person was. 

I opened my eyes slowly before forcing myself to frown at Chris who is standing beside me. 

"Get up and have breakfast," he said to me and I groaned. 

I pushed the duvet up to my shoulders before turning to face away from him and dropping the duvet to cover my face.

"Babe?" Chris called out to me and I moved around impatiently on the bed- not bringing my head out for once- until it was all quiet again. 

I tried closing my eyes but the sleep won't come and my thoughts went to Chris. 

Is he gone already? That quickly?

I was about to bring my head out of the duvet to check if he is really gone when the duvet suddenly went off me.
