Chapter 62. Do You Not Recognize Me?

Adele's POV 

My eyes widened on their own as they trailed after the man who just passed in front of me. Was that- was that not-

Daniel?

My feet shot up immediately and I found myself walking toward the direction he left in. 

"Adele!" I heard Chris call out from behind me but I am too curious to answer him. 

Too curious to find who that is. It can't be him, can it? 

No, it can't. That is not possible. 

He died. He died after that incident last year. My mother told me he did. But- but how do I explain who I just saw?

My feet stopped moving when I saw a lady appear right beside him and he handed her coca cola drink with a smile plastered to his face.

"Daniel?" I tried calling out to him anyways. 

Everything went silent and deaf to me for a while when nothing happened. But then, I saw his body move. I saw his body twist to look at me and my eyes went glossy instantly. It's him!
