Chapter 220
He got to the ambulance and saw the attendant. He greeted her and asked if he could know who was wheeled in. The attendant hesitated at first because the information was not supposed to be outside now. She asked him if he was a reporter; he said he wasn't, that the person wheeled in looked so familiar he needed to find out who it was.
She told him that she wasn't supposed to give out information like that, but because he said he knew the person, she was going to tell him just the name. She told him the patient's name; he knew him; he was one of his high-placed client's children.
He recognized his face because he had attended a gathering when he was present. He asked the attendant if his parents knew about this. She said yes, that they had already reached out to the parents.
Why were they not here already? If he was a parent and he had that type of call, he was going to leave everything he was doing and make sure he was with his child. He asked
