Kitty’s POV

Kitty noticed that she got tired and stressed these days. She didn't know why. Since she became a Partner in the firm, she was assigned junior associates and senior associates, too, so she didn't have a lot of work on her hands; she decided to visit the hospital on her way back from work.

She went to Jason's office to tell him how she was feeling and that she would go to the hospital after the close of the day; she didn't meet Jason on the seat, so she decided to text him; she did that and called her Doctor to book an appointment with him for later that day.

She asked Jason's secretary where he was, and she said she didn't have any idea, so she left his section of the office and went to her.

She could not stop thinking about what happened a week ago, the night when Jason asked her to be a Partner in the firm, and what happened even before she said Yes. She liked it, but they had been too busy to have a repeat of it.
