Chapter 59. Pillow Talk

On the bed, Brent gently stroked Beverley’s hair. He recalled the snippet of the video he had gotten from the stranger earlier. Unable to resist, he asked, “What did that guy do to you?”

Beverley shook her head softly against his chest. “If I tell you, you’ll get angry.”

“He kissed your neck,” Brent said flatly. “How dare he touch my wife?!”

“How did you know?” Beverley felt surprised and confused. She hadn’t told Brent about the previous situation in Mr. Davis’ office. But why did he know Mr. Davis had kissed her neck?
