“Let’s go home.”
Brent took Beverley’s hand to leave Edelweiss’ grave. He looked around and asked, “Is your mother’s grave here too? We could pay a visit.”
Beverley shook her head. “No, it’s not. How is that possible?” She chuckled. Her mood had gotten better after Brent had taken her to his mother’s grave. He really did love her, and there was no need for anyone to doubt that.
“I saw a bouquet left for you from Natalie yesterday.”
The man snorted. “Just ignore her. We just need to focus on our lives.”
“Okay.” Beverley nodded firmly with a smile. They finally returned home and hurried to get to work.
