We hear footsteps from upstairs and all our conversation seizes.

“I can see you guys have now become besties." Luke's bitter voice comes from the staircase.

“And I can see you are not yet over your childish tantrums." I retort immediately.

I guess a part of me is not fully sorry about some of the things I said.

“Luke, I think something is fishy. I think your Grandfather is hiding something that has to do with the three of us. Vivian also can't remember what happened in her childhood, she sees your Grandfather's eyes, just like the two of us. It cannot be a coincidence right?" Ada asks excitedly.

I don't know why she is so happy about the news, maybe she has been trying to solve the mystery for a long time now.

I was expecting Lucas to be surprised, confused, and maybe curious, but he wasn't. He started at Ada with a blank expression
