Chapter 27

I quickly dialed Sarah's number while running inside the hospital. I don't know if Steven is following me but I'm scared.

"Hey, gaga!" Minda opened to me when she answered my call. "Why did you call your son? Zellor is crying!"

I suddenly felt guilty. I didn't mean it. I was just too scared. I also heard my son's cry on the other line, so I felt even more guilty.

I was panting while running to the second floor using only the stairs. I stopped for a while due to fatigue and looked behind me to see if anyone was following me or not.

"S-Sorry" I said breathlessly. "I saw Steven!"

I heard her breathing.

"Where are you? Are you running?" he asked me worriedly.

I leaned my hand on the wall and took a deep breath.

"I-I'm on my way there."

"We're not in the room, Tori. We're in the canteen!" he said, stopping me.
