What the fuck? Husband?

Until now, my heart is still haunted by what Steven said. The old man looked back and forth between us while Steven tightened his grip on me.

"Really?" the old man asked in disbelief. "I mean...before you and your wife had an annulment, right? I haven't heard about her—"

"She's now my ex-wife," Steven said coldly, seeming to be suddenly out of the mood. "Will you excuse us?"
