”Good evening to everyone.” Mona smiled politely at them.

”Miss Hunt is young and has done a lot. We didn’t think she would be this pretty.”

People started telling jokes, but Mona didn’t seem to care. She acted like she hadn’t heard. Mr. Myers poured a big glass of wine and added, “Since this is our first meeting, Miss Hunt, we should toast.”

”Thanks, Mr. Myers, but I’m not good with alcohol, so I have to say no,” Mona said with a soft smile and didn’t even touch the glass.

Samuel didn’t look too happy. He didn’t let go of the Mr. Myers’ eyes flashed with surprise, but he didn’t put the glass down.
