Sydney’s face changed a little when she noticed that Mona had sent Leo back. The more she felt this way, the more she needed to calm down.

She smiled and moved forward. She held Leo’s hand and remarked to Mona, “What a coincidence miss Hunt… oh I mean miss Granger! Now that you’ve brought Leo back, why not have a meal together? Mrs. Shore just so happened to make my favorite chicken soup. You can give it a try.”

When Mona saw Sydney, she felt calm, but she looked at Luke instead without meaning to. His face was stiff, just how she thought it would be. He didn’t even look at Leo.

”No, I still have work to do.” Mona clutched Luke’s hand and waved to Williams, and the car took off right away after they entered the car.

Leo only frowned and looked at Sydney after that. “Why are you here?”

Sydney looked down. “I’m afraid to be alone in the apartment. Can I stay here?”

Leo scowled a little “Stay if you want to.”
