Chapter 46. Thank You for Coming Into My Life

Piper’s POV

After a few days in the hospital, the doctor finally allowed me to go home. I sat on the edge of the bed, enjoying my breakfast, while Jay tidied up our things. As I stuffed pieces of fruit into my mouth, my eyes stared at him.

Was I dreaming? Am I a Cinderella?

I was not Cinderella. I’ve had bad things happen to me in the past because of Megan. If she hadn’t set me up, maybe I would never have gotten to know Jay, let alone become his future wife. Everything was painful in the beginning, but now Jansen and I can finally enjoy the happiness of being a complete family together with Jay and Jessie.

Thank God. I’m not alone anymore. I have a man to keep me company.
