Bryan's POV 

“What are you doing here Brianna?” I asked without looking at her. I smelled her before she crossed the hall. 

“I'm not going to ask how you knew I was here.” she sighed as she walked in. 

“Why are you still here?” I still wasn't looking at her. I was expecting Orion because we had a meeting. 

The fact that the killings had stopped didn't mean we were in the clear. 

Also Ciara was a dire wolf now so it was only a matter of time before she was targeted, I had to be ready. 

Orion didn't know she was a dire wolf and I intended to keep it that way. 

The less people who are aware, the safer she'd be. Or that's what I keep telling myself. 

“What else do I need to do to make you forgive me for leaving?” She asked, pulling me out of my thoughts and I sighed. “Brianna please don't pretend like you care okay? You should just be on your merry way back to wherever you came from.
