Chapter 97

Ciara's POV 

“Hey, you're up early,” Bryan whispered and I turned, startled. He chuckled when he saw my reaction and held his hand up. 

“I'm sorry baby, didn't mean to scare you.” Then his eyebrows knitted together. “Are you okay?” 

I smiled and nodded. “Of course, why wouldn't I be?” 

It was strange for me to feel scared in a room we both shared but I had been lost in thought so it was understandable. 

“Come here,” he held his arms open wide and I didn't hesitate. I slid back into bed and melted into his arms, taking a large whiff of his scent. It was my favourite perfume in the world and I was slowly getting addicted to it. 

“I need to go somewhere,” I whispered against his body and he froze. “I know what you're going to say but I have to do this, it's important.” 

He pulled away and held my arms. “What's going Ciara? You've been acting weird in the last couple of days.”
