I arrived a bit late at the Assessment site, and Lillian had already left the palace in the secret transport Aldrich had arranged. I had disguised myself as an omega and brought the necessary items for the Assessment.

I needed to find Lillian.

I searched around the grounds. Different groups were gathered across the open field, while the Council of Elders sat at the front alongside nobles and several others I didn’t care about.
