Chapter 16. Attraction Between Mates

Aresnio's POV

I arrived a bit late at the Assessment site, and Lillian had already left the palace in the secret transport Aldrich had provided. I had disguised myself as an omega and taken the necessary items for the Assessment.

I had to find Lillian. I was already at the site, but I hadn't found her yet.

I searched around the site, and different groups were gathered in the open field; the council of elders was already seated at the front of the field, along with some nobles and others I didn't care about.

They were all from different packs.

I found her; she was among the group of omegas. A smile touched my lips when I saw her. I made my way toward her group and stood behind her. She spun around immediately. She must've sensed my presence because of our bond.
