In the midst of the turmoil, I chose not to execute the rebellious packs that had sided with Hermes. Instead of killing them, I decided to keep them alive and preserve their status for the sake of the country’s stability.

I wanted the werewolf country to be peaceful again, and that was why I made that decision—no more bloodshed in the pack.

Since they surrendered after Hermes died on the spot and the soldiers had already surrounded them, they gave in and swore their loyalty to me. It wasn’t like they had a choice. I didn’t expect them to, and I wanted peace to reign.

I’m sure my father would have done the same thing and spared the rebellious packs.

The twins didn’t seem quite pleased with my decision when they approached me. They wore disapproving looks.
